Harrogate Golf Club
Established in 1892 the Club is the oldest in Harrogate. It has a long history and is very well respected throughout the country having hosted National Championships and regularly staging County events.
The Club is proud to be a member of the Mackenzie Society, and is the course where European Tour star John Parry played his junior golf. The Club is also a Member of Welcome to Yorkshire.
The course measures 6198 yards not over long by modern standards but consistantly regarded as a true test of golf. Mackenzie style greens and tree lined fairways provide an enjoyable challenge for all standards of ability. With a the course always presented in superb condition many of our visiting parties return year after year.
Parkland golf at its best, Harrogate dates to 1892 and offers MacKenzie-style greens and fairways flanked by mature trees. It may be a par 69 but it’s no stroll in the park. Beware of the tough closing stretch.
