Fulford Golf Club

Fulford Golf Club rated 82nd in England is a fine inland course. It may be familiar with golfers, as it is here where Bernhard Langer was playing in the Benson & Hedges International, when his ball lodged up in a tree on the 17th, and he famously climbed the tree and played his ball into the green. Designed by Alister Mackenzie’s brother; Major Charles Mackenzie, the course itself is known for being kept in pristine condition. Fulford is very much tree lined with heather and well placed bunkers requiring a strategic long game to score well. It can measure up to 6,900 yards, making it overall a tough test of golf, yet a very enjoyable course to play.
