Brampton Golf Club
Our club was founded in 1909 and the course was originally designed by James Braid. Golf World has described Brampton Golf club as ‘The Jewel of Cumbria’ with comments likening the course to a ‘mini Gleneagles’ and we were also pleased to be rated and featured in Golf Monthly’s 100 Hidden Gems.
The course measures 6084 yards (yellow), par 72 for men and 5477 yards (red), par 74 for ladies and is a fair and enjoyable test for any level of golfer. The superb drainage makes play possible for year round golf. 'Ladies and Gents' WC's are located at the 9th and 12th tee areas.
An undulating heathland course set in rolling fell country. A number of particularly fine holes, the pick of which may arguably be the lengthy 3rd and 11th . The challenging nature of the course is complemented by unspoilt panoramic views of the Lake District, Pennines and Southern Scotland.
