Possibly the most natural heathland in the world given the abundance and acreage it covers. A stunningly superb golf course, it should be in any conversation about the best inland course in the country. 

Being a little further from London than comparable courses such as Sunningdale and Walton Heath has given Hankley a degree of anonymity over the decades, but golfers increasingly talk about this serious and beautiful test of golf as one of the finest.
