The upcoming Golf Tourism England Convention has now reached full capacity, with all delegate places booked well ahead of the event.
Hosted at Saunton Sands Hotel, overlooking the North Devon coastline and adjacent to the renowned links of Saunton Golf Club, the convention will once again bring together tour operators from the UK and overseas, destinations and industry partners for a focused programme of networking, discussion and golf.
Now firmly established as an important fixture in the golf tourism calendar, the convention provides buyers with the opportunity to experience England’s golf offering first hand. Delegates will also take part in a familiarisation programme ahead of the convention, allowing visiting operators to sample some outstanding golf before the main event begins.
Demand for places this year has been particularly strong, reflecting the continued growth of interest in England as a golf tourism destination. The South West offers a combination of championship links golf, dramatic coastal scenery and relaxed hospitality that continues to appeal strongly to international golfers.
For Golf Tourism England, the convention plays an important role in connecting the global golf travel trade with England’s destinations and suppliers, helping to strengthen relationships and create new opportunities for inbound golf tourism.
