We have been creating special memories for guests since the early 16th century and are the most historic hotel in Windsor. Offering timeless elegance and welcoming hospitality, The Castle Hotel is the perfect place to explore all that Windsor has to offer.
Now undergoing a huge transformation, we’re investing over £9.5 million to start our next fascinating chapter.
We plan to transform all 108 bedrooms. Beautiful new furniture, the softest bed linenand the comfiest mattresses. Imagine high tech TVs, freshly brewed coffee in bed and a fridge of lovely local surprises. A new and exciting restaurant is coming too. A celebration of British produce and classic British dishes in a typically British setting. And, through our design, our team and our redefined guest journey, we will celebrate Windsor’s heritage and play our part in continuing its beautiful legacy.
Bar:
With a nod to the traditional British public house, join the crowd in our new bar. Where timeless craft beers meet locally sourced wines and spirits alongside classic favourites. Let your hair down, leave the rest of the day behind and elevate your mood.
Restaurant:
Our brand-new restaurant will become known in Windsor for it’s classic British dishes using the very best local, seasonal produce. An ideal destination for a foodie break, to celebrate a special occasion or unwind at the end of a busy day of sightseeing.
Bedooms:
Each bedroom will receive a sumptuous face-lift. Bold colours, textures and details, floral patterned chairs, and custom-made furniture will give a subtle nod to the past while incorporating the latest in sleep comforts. Think an oh-so comfy Hypnos mattress, super fluffy pillows and all the latest mod cons.

Weddings, parties, private dining, boardroom meetings, theatre style presentations.
