Set beside the tranquil River Wharfe and framed by the magnificent Ilkley Moor, Ilkley Golf Club is perfect for visiting parties, offering an ideal balance of challenge, accessibility and stunning scenery.
Founded in 1890, Ilkley is the third-oldest club in Yorkshire. It is where Colin Montgomerie learnt his golf, and it also counts former Ryder Cup captain Mark James and twice Walker Cup captain Rodney Foster as members.
With course design input from Alister MacKenzie, Harry Colt and James Braid, the course presents an engaging test for accomplished golfers while not being too daunting for those who play less frequently. With greens close to tees, minimal rough and a generally flat layout, rounds are enjoyable and fast-moving.
Throughout the year, Ilkley offers exclusive opportunities for guests, including bespoke packages that combine exceptional golf with first-class hospitality.
The friendly team is on hand to organise every aspect of your golf day, including competition formats, nearest-the-pin and longest-drive challenges, prize selection and buggy hire, to ensure a smooth, seamless experience.
The club offers several golf and dining packages, and menus can be tailored to your requirements and budget, ensuring every detail complements your day.
