Matfen Hall

Golf has been at the heart of Matfen Hall for 30 years, meaning our championship 27 hole course takes pride of place on our vast country estate. Set in over 300 acres of mature parkland with dedicated onsite professionals, Maften Park plays host to three loops of 9 holes; the Dewlaw, Standing Stone and Douglas Courses.

Many of our challenging signature holes see a fast flowing River Pont running through them, as well as a few hidden dog-leg turns to keep seasoned players on their toes. Strong par 4 holes feature consistently throughout both Dewlaw and Douglas, with memorable turns in our two putting greens ensuring a game to suit every player.

Featuring firm fairways and perfectly maintained runways, our course also offers strategically placed bunkers so no two games will ever be the same. A private buggy drive along to our Driving Range sees our 10 covered bays playing host to any golfer looking to perfect their aim, while our suitably equipped Golf Shop holds an extensive range of professional equipment.

Each day at Matfen Hall Golf Park is meticulously planned with our visitors in mind, so games can be enjoyed in their remote countryside setting with only your game demanding attention. Complete with refreshments in our purpose built clubhouse The Keepers, your first round will leave you wondering when you will be back for another game.
