The Norfolk Golf Coast is a stunningly beautiful stretch of coastline in the northern part of the county, and has some excellent links and cliff top courses.
Whilst Kings Lynn Golf Club is neither links nor cliff top, it is a tree lined course set back from the coast, it is the perfect start to a tour along some of the most scenic landscapes in the UK.
Hunstanton Golf Club is a classic links and one of the UK’s top 100 courses. It is a serious challenge and has staged many important amateur events.
Royal West Norfolk, known as Brancaster, oozes old worldly charm, and has a unique atmosphere starting with the charismatic clubhouse, to the tidal saltmarsh at the far end of the course. Featuring highly in all rankings, Brancaster is an unforgettable experience.
Moving further east, the next course is the stunning Sheringham Golf Club. A combination of links and cliff top, some of the views down the coast line are exceptional, but there is much more to the course than the natural beauty. It is a stiff test, where wind is a major factor.
Finally, Royal Cromer Golf Club sits majestically above the sea shore, and is a superb cliff top course. Complete with a lighthouse, Royal Cromer is another course that is recognised as one of the Top 100 in the country.
Play these five courses, and you will want to turn around and play them again!
