Based to the east of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, this long established heathland course lies within the legendary Sherwood Forest. Ranked within the Top 50 in England, the course was intially designed by Harry Colt and subsequently enhanced by James Braid.
It is a true Championship test of 6,835 yards incorporating ninety eight bunkers of local sand and long carries over punishing swathes of heather.
This fine heathland is known for its outstanding greens and a long, punishing turn for home. The back nine is rarely your better nine.
