Possibly the most natural heathland in the world given the abundance and acreage it covers. A stunningly superb golf course, it should be in any conversation about the best inland course in the country. 

Just a bit further away from London and comparable courses such as Sunningdale and Walton Heath, has given the course a level of anonymity over the decades, but slowly but surely, golfers are beginning to discuss this very serious and beautiful test of golf.
